About MSC

I am a person who favors home. When I go out, there is no better feeling than unlocking my front door at the end of the day and unwinding in my little oasis. I light candles, put on pajamas, and make popcorn — this is my routine.

Real estate, I’ve learned, is all about home. When I launched Melanie Stone Chicago at Coldwell Banker, I wanted to celebrate this concept: Home is where you wake up in the morning, hazy sunlight pouring in through your bedroom window. It's where you recharge your batteries after a long day and an even longer commute. It's where you spend time with the people you love, sharing stories and a bottle of wine.

Whether you’re buying your first place or selling one in order to purchase another, I promise to partner with you, providing the very best resources and support.

This spring, I was named to Realtor Magazine's national "30 Under 30" list. I became a member of Coldwell Banker's International Diamond Society in 2016, and in 2015, I received my company's "Rookie of the Year" award for the city region. Along the way, I also advanced to the board of directors for the Women’s Council of Realtors Chicago Chapter.

I created So You Want to Buy a Condo, a seminar for first-time buyers, at the end of 2015. Since then, I’ve taught this course across the city at places like WeWork, Uber, Deloitte, Grubhub and Havas.

To begin 2016, I launched MSC MAG, a bimonthly magazine and elegant display of my passion for writing and real estate. I write a blog, too. At MelanieStoneChicago.com, I share a peek into my work and life in the city.

As for my own home, I live in a renovated condo in the Gold Coast — my window overlooks the recently restored RestorationHardware at the 3 Arts Club. When I need a break from the city, I drive home to Hinsdale to be with my family. It is the sweetest escape.
